On first day back on campus, AEC students enjoyed a full day of celebrations on the occasion of Vartanats and Paregentan with an array of memorable activities. During morning chapel, students commemorated Vartanants day with hymns, songs and poem recitation. The school Principal, through his message, exhorted to remain faithful to God and our nation, never lose hope, and face battles no matter the difficulties.
Later, secondary students had a debate session with the Principal where they discussed about the meaning of being an Armenian.
Finally, students and teachers in a huge excitement celebrated paregentan by wearing colorful costumes, decorating masks, dancing and having fun.
Thank you to the activities committee and all the teachers for their enthusiasm and commitment. Thank you to cafeteria ladies for the yummy lunch and the delicious treats.
