AEC Alumnus Garo Avessian ‘98, participated in the 14th Danube International Conducting Masterclass and Competition 2018 and won the first prize and the Grand Prix Prize in Budapest, Hungary. Garo Avessian is the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra conductor, as well as a lecturer at the Lebanese National Conservatory and the Hamazkayin Parsegh Ganatchian Music School. Garo has never ceased to maintain his warm and special relationship with the school. His two boys attend AEC, he is a committee member in the Sona Aharonian Music Competition, and he is never hesitant to bring his professional support to the school's activities.
