On Friday, April 25, our students gathered during the assembly to commemorate the Armenian Genocide and honor the memory of our 1.5 million martyrs through poetry, song, acting, and music.
Each performance was more than a tribute. It was a whisper from the past, carried by the voices of today.
Our principal reminded us of the sacredness of this day. He spoke of how, when a nation unites in prayer, God listens to our songs, our tears, and even our unspoken pain.
He reminded us that we are called to be the voice. In everything we do, in every step we take, let us live with meaning, with feeling, and with purpose so that the world will not only see and hear, but truly understand.
And those who perished will know that they are not forgotten.
