On April 9, 2026, we visited displaced families currently staying at KCHAG, carrying with us love, care, and a small reminder that they are not alone. Armenian Evangelical College took this initiative as a community, with our school, students, and families coming together to prepare donations of hygiene products, storybooks, board games, and clothes, each item given with heartfelt intention. Sadly, due to the situation and recent attacks on Beirut, our students were unable to join us; they had planned to spend time with the children, playing games and making crafts, but were unable to attend. The school was represented by our principal, Dr. Armen Urneshlian, and Ms. Marine Shehirian. We are deeply grateful to Pastor Datev Basmajian, Ms. Rima Cholakian, and Mrs. Roula Darwish Taleb, an AEC parent from Al Shabiba Risala NGO, who brought joy through games, prayers, and gifts for the children. Despite the pain of losing their homes, the smiles of the children and the quiet strength of their parents filled the space with hope. We continue to pray for peace.
