On Dec.23, we gathered to celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas! The day began with a chapel service, where we praised God and celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ through songs and music. Principal Dr. Armen shared a heartfelt message, reminding us that although we have lived through war and there was no peace, the birth of Jesus should remind us of the importance of peace, especially inner peace, which is the most important of all. He concluded by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Following the chapel, Grades 1-12 students visited the Monastery and Church of Christ the King in Zouk Mosbeh, where they had a meaningful experience, and later enjoyed lunch in Jeita, where a lively Christmas parade added even more joy to their day. Meanwhile, KG students visited the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias and later had a wonderful experience at the Elf Factory in Zalka. We wish the entire AEC family a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and joyful holidays.
